Salary: $66K-$83K per year (plus OT + travel per diem)

We currently have an Ironworker Foreman position to fill. We are looking for a dedicated, skilled candidate who cares about workmanship, efficiency, and safety. Responsibilities:
Coordinate daily tasks according to priorities and plans
Make changes -when necessary- due to weather, supply, delivery and personnel
Delegate individual responsibilities and projects to crew members
Inspect all materials and equipment to detect malfunctions
Regularly report project status to project managers, site engineers, and other officials
Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
?Qualifications:
10+ years ironwork/steel erection experience
5+ years supervisory experience
Minimum Education Required: High School Diploma or equivalent
Proficient in managing crew, time, and costs
Good leadership and communication skills
Ability to read prints and construction drawings
Good problem-solving abilities
OSHA 10 (or 30) certification preferred
Physical Requirements:
Employee will be required to adhere to large amounts of standing, walking, bending, squatting, sitting, and lifting
Will use arms and hands to signal, grab, hold, turn, push, and pull: objects, materials, controls, and tools.
May be required to pick up, lift, carry, and move up to 50lbs
Will work at heights, climb ladders and stairways, and may occasionally work off of platforms/scaffolding using the appropriate fall protection equipment
Must be able to work in all weather conditions (including heat, rain, cold and wind) while wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
Will be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) including but not limited to: hard hat, safety glasses, ear plugs, masks/respirators, hi-vis safety vests, leather gloves, and leather steel-toed work boots
Other Requirements:
Ability to pass drug tests
Ability to pass background checks
Ability to pass a job-related physical examination
Ability to pass a 3G/4G weld test
Must possess a clean, valid driver's license
Willing to work overtime
Willing to work in all weather conditions
Willing to work in various locations in CT, MA, and RI (occasionally other nearby states)
Willing to be a team player and work well with others
