Brewer, Attorneys & Counselors seeks an executive assistant for the managing director of the firm's Public Affairs group. This professional will report to this senior executive in the firm's Dallas Office and assist in the daily operations of this work group. The Public Affairs Department manages media and public relations for the firm and, in many cases, the clients it represents. The department is also involved in community relations, firm events, and client meetings.
What You'll Do:
Manage scheduling internal and external appointments, confirming meetings, and organizing logistics
Coordinate global and domestic travel (with support from firm's outside travel agent)
Handle all logistics for internal and external meetings
Completion of detailed corporate expenses
Screen/route incoming calls, email and correspondence
Flexibility after regular business hours for time-sensitive tasks
Manage day-to day tasks, including booking reservations, appointments, onsite meals, etc.
About You:
7+ years of C-Suite executive assistant experience
Extremely positive and professional attitude
Ability to work well in a dynamic team environment
Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail
Ability to anticipate critical needs, prioritize competing tasks and manage to deadlines
Perform duties with the highest level of confidentiality and integrity
An autonomous worker with strong follow-through skills
Ability to build relationships with key players and senior management
Creative thinker who can solve complex problems
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft office, including Word and PowerPoint
