Minimum Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration preferred.

  • 1 year of experience with research-related activities and administrative duties and functions.​

  • Ability to work independently on most of the administrative duties with limited supervision is required.               

  • Must have the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.


Responsibilities:



• Administrative project coordinator  for the Community Engagement and Research Core of the CTSI and Community Outreach and Education Core 25%​
• Administrative assistant duties
• Coordinate research project activities and attend meetings of the different research activities. ​
• Coordinate meetings for investigators and provide general support for these meetings​
• Assistance with financial management and grant and contract management​
• Assist in preparation of announcements, presentations, administrative records and reports​
• Maintain contact lists of speakers, caterers, Medical Center and community contacts​
• Provide general support for day-to day office and program activities, including filing, answering phones, etc.
• Liaison with community members and outside agencies

• ​Strong interpersonal skills; ability to collaborate well with internal and external research and professional staff​
• ​Excellent oral and written communication skills
• ​Excellent skill with excel, word and power point​ 
• ​Ability to make detailed observations.​
• ​Follow established policies and procedures to perform the functions of the job​
• ​Compiles results and prepares technical reports and documentation of outcomes​
• Ability to work as a member of a team
• Ability to interact in an appropriate and professional manner
• Ability to multitask, and identify tasks by priority
• Ability to  meet multiple and sometimes conflicting deadlines
• Demonstrate cooperative behavior and positive-problem solving and conflict resolution skills
• Available to work dependable, regular and occasional flexible shift

Salary: $67,000/yr.
