Position: Content and Social Media Specialist

Department: Marketing

Reports to: Director of Marketing & Communications

We are seeking a dynamic and creative Social Media Marketing Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about digital marketing, possess excellent communication skills, and have a keen eye for visual content creation. This role involves creating and executing social media strategies, managing multiple brand accounts, and collaborating with various stakeholders to achieve marketing objectives. This position will work closely with the Graphic Designer and Social Media Team Lead. This position may be asked to perform other duties and special projects as requested by management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Paid Media Advertising: Develop and execute paid media ad campaigns on Facebook for multiple brands, ensuring alignment with brand objectives and target audience.
  • Content Scheduling: Schedule and publish regular posts on Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, and other relevant platforms for all brand accounts, maintaining a consistent and engaging presence.
  • Visual Content Production: Assist in the planning and execution of video shoots and photo shoots for all brands, ensuring high-quality content that resonates with the target audience.
  • User-Generated Content (UGC): Collaborate with team members to create UGC-style content that showcases brand authenticity and encourages user engagement across social media platforms.
  • Campaign Ideation: Contribute innovative ideas and suggestions for upcoming marketing campaigns, leveraging industry trends and consumer insights to drive brand awareness and engagement.
  • Content Brief Development: Create detailed content briefs for various campaigns, outlining creative concepts, messaging, and visual requirements for different brands.
  • Influencer Outreach and Management: Identify and engage with relevant influencers for partnership opportunities, managing relationships and ensuring alignment with brand values and goals.
  • Collaboration with Stakeholders: Work closely with brand partners, such as restaurants, for event collaborations, content shoots, and other marketing initiatives to showcase brand partnerships and enhance brand visibility.
  • Website Content Monitoring: Support in monitoring website content to ensure it is up-to-date and aligned with the brand's messaging and promotions.
  • Budget Tracking: Prepare and track job expenses and budget allocations for social media efforts, ensuring efficient resource utilization and adherence to budgetary constraints.
  • Performance Reporting: Prepare status reports and monthly performance reports to track KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) and evaluate the effectiveness of social media campaigns and strategies.
  • Content Management: Manage and organize the marketing content share drive, including menus, photos, videos, and calendars, to ensure easy access and retrieval of assets for marketing initiatives.
  • Event Support: Aid with events as required, encompassing tasks such as setting up Facebook event pages, creating Eventbrite pages for ticket sales, managing social ads, and more.
  • Community Management and Event Support: Be flexible and available on weekends to provide community management on social media channels and occasionally attend events, ensuring active engagement and representation of the brand.
  • Department Supervision: Serve as the leader of the social media department, working closely with the rest of the team, and reporting directly to the Director of Marketing

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • Proven experience in social media marketing, preferably in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Creative thinking with a passion for staying updated on industry trends.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with social media management tools and analytics platforms is a plus. (Emplifi, Hootsuite, etc.)
  • 2-4 years of experience working with social media paid ads (preferred).
  • Must be fluent in English and Spanish.

Pluses:
  • Experience with Google AdWords, Google Analytics, and Facebook Blueprint Certified.
  • Canva or Adobe Creative Cloud proficient.
