Job Description:

One of the top Elite Litigation Law firms is currently seeking a Marketing Director to propel the business development efforts in their headquarter office in Downtown Los Angeles. Collaborating with the firm's group leaders, you will contribute to enhancing relationships with existing clients and devising initiatives to attract new ones.

FLSA Status: Exempt

Hybrid Schedule: 4 days in office, 1 day remote

Responsibilities:

The Marketing Director will be an integral part of the firm, collaborating on strategic initiatives. The role involves crafting and delivering the firm's narrative to target markets, seizing business development opportunities, supporting pitches and RFPs, conducting market research, and managing client relationships. The ideal candidate is a forward-thinking professional capable of both strategic planning and hands-on execution, with a background in diverse litigation practices. Leadership qualities, effective communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously are essential.

Essential Functions:
  • Respond to new business pitches and RFPs.
  • Develop substantive business development presentations.
  • Manage surveys, directories, and award submissions.
  • Identify key industry sponsorships and speaking engagements.
  • Conduct research and analysis on new clients, markets, and industries.
  • Establish and maintain the annual Los Angeles development budget, tracking ROI for all initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain marketing collateral.
  • Track matters, including outcomes.

Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree required; graduate degree in marketing, communications, or related field referred.
  • 5+years of related experience in a law firm environment, supervising or mentoring experience is a plus.
  • Comprehensive understanding of litigation practices.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Cloud(illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop)
  • Strong writing, editing, proofreading, and presentation skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with strong presentation skills.
  • Client service orientation and comfort in interacting with firm leadership and senior administrative personnel.
  • Track record of creating persuasive content across various mediums.
