With a primary focus on steam trap management to help our customers on the road to decarbonization, Armstrong International is hiring a Steam Service Engineer Intern to support the ongoing development of the 'Thermal Insight Group'. The successful candidate will work closely with the current team and be mainly responsible for supporting steam trap surveys domestically.
The candidate will be passionate about their work, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and have good verbal and written communication skills.



Key Responsibilities

•Assist in steam trap surveys.
•Assist members of the steam trap management team.
•Provide reports of findings following surveys.
•Willingness to learn or train in the position.
•Other duties as assigned and not limited to just the above.



Key Requirements

•Ability to work cross-functionally on projects.
•Ability to travel 90%-100% of the time.
•Basic knowledge of steam and hot water processes.
•Basic knowledge of thermal systems.
•Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
•Must have the physical and mental stamina to stand, walk, lift, and adjust to the noise and lighting of the manufacturing environment during a full shift.



Education Level

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
