This position is responsible for delivering the enterprise data governance strategy at in partnership with business areas and other data functions. This position is also responsible for driving data governance advancement by implementing and refining policies, processes, and technologies.

Primary Responsibilities:
• Lead cross-functional data governance initiatives to establish data governance solutions and mature organizational data practices and behaviors
• Design, develop, and implement enterprise metadata management, data quality, and data fluency solutions that enable end users to effectively leverage data assets
• Design and implement enterprise data governance processes and procedures that support the optimization of data assets for operational, analytical, and strategic use

Secondary Responsibilities:
• Define, implement, and enforce data governance policies and best practices that drive data consistency, data accuracy, and data transparency for technical systems and end users
• Design and implement DG technologies that enable end users to be self-sufficient in understanding the data and actively engaged in data management practices
• Train others on data governance and technical skills; mentors team members with less experience
