We are looking for an experienced and creative Visual Merchandiser that would like to contribute to the ongoing success and growth with our team. This role will assist with sourcing props, fixtures, administrative tasks and visual merchandising displays.
As a part of our Showroom Visual Merchandising Team you must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and have excellent creative abilities, strong organizational skills, and an eye for detail. This is a part-time position that will be responsible for design planning, sourcing, merchandising and showroom set-up/execution.
This is a versatile position that will require a candidate to be comfortable working on their own while also receiving remote coaching and supervision and as a team. New Visual Merchandisers will receive training onsite at the OneCoast showroom in the Atlanta AmericasMart.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Communication with management to discuss and execute floor plans, design layout formats, and display points
Develop, create, and implement showroom displays
Set-up, maintain, and breakdown displays
Devise, implement and execute effective merchandising strategies
Thorough understanding of the vendor products and customer base
The ideal candidate will have:
Ability to work onsite in the Atlanta showroom is required
Candidate must be able to demonstrate extraordinary communication and organizational skills
Experience with creating & executing effective merchandising strategies
A strong work ethic, professional presentation, excellent communication, and customer service skills
Proficient in basic computer functions and Microsoft Office & inventory purchase orders. Proficient in design programs such as: CANVA, Word, Excel
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to use power tools safely and efficiently including ability to paint
Must be able to lift and move items that are 50 pounds +
Ability to comfortably work on a ladder
Ability to bend, lift, push, pull and stand for long periods of time
