Applicants must reside within reasonable commuting distance from our stores in Lee, Collier, Palm Beach, and Broward counties. Job Summary: The Field Visual Merchandise Coordinator will play a pivotal role in ensuring consistent and compelling visual merchandising standards across all stores. Reporting directly to the Furniture Merchandising Manager, this position requires a blend of creativity, organizational skills, and a strong understanding of retail operations. The ideal candidate will excel in training and communication, while also possessing the ability to develop innovative strategies to enhance the brand aesthetic within stores. This position is available in either Delray Beach, FL or Bonita Springs, FL.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the coordination of all visual merchandising standards within stores, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines.
  • Develop comprehensive training tools for field merchants and retail store staff to uphold visual merchandising standards.
  • Manage the development and implementation of new systems to improve visual merchandising standards and workflow efficiency.
  • Actively communicate with the Furniture Merchandising Manager and VP of Merchandising to convey store needs and plans for visual rollouts.
  • Maintain and uphold the brand aesthetic within stores, ensuring consistency across all locations.
  • Assist in the creation and launch of seasonal directives for stores, incorporating creative and strategic input.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with 3rd party vendors to coordinate visual assets for stores.
  • Manage project scheduling needs for the department and maintain the overall visual merchandising calendar for field merchants.
  • Collect and analyze feedback from retail teams on visual needs, implementing necessary adjustments.
  • Attend visual meetings and training sessions to stay updated on best practices and industry trends.
  • Conduct weekly visits to local stores, collaborating closely with field merchants and managers to provide support as needed.
  • Travel as required for merchandising flips and new store openings, ensuring consistent implementation of visual standards.
  • Manage merch planning process and product mapping for stores, optimizing product placement for maximum impact.
  • Oversee primary and secondary fixture needs within stores, including ordering and maintenance.
  • Complete accurate and timely reporting and paperwork, such as store visit reports, weekly recaps, expense reports, and time tracking documents.
  • Provide ongoing product expertise and support to the sales organization, as well as internal and external customers.
  • Develop professional working relationships with sales associates and management at all levels.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • 3+ years of experience as a Field Merchandiser or similar position in the retail environment
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and retail math
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and other relevant software
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing, bending, reaching, and lifting up to 20 lbs.
