As the company continues to evolve, the strategic compass point is drawing Bishop-Wisecarver into new product designs to serve its customers well into the future. Now is the time for the company to create a new role that will accelerate progress.
We are seeking a newly created role of Chief Operating Officer to partner with Pamela Kan, President/Owner in realizing the vision set out for the company: Diversity in mechatronics. The COO will oversee all commercial and operational aspects of the business, including product development, engineering, sales, marketing, manufacturing, supply chain, and facilities. Finance/Accounting and Human Resources will continue to report to the President/Owner.
The successful candidate will have responsibility for and leadership experience in several of the following areas: applications engineering, product development, manufacturing, business development, sales, and marketing. The ability to lead these functions and a demonstrated skill in successfully growing revenue in both existing and new applications are essential. Technical knowledge and expertise are foundational. It is not a requirement that candidates have previously served as a COO. In fact, our preference is to invite someone who has not yet served but is positionally prepared to step into this role.
