Their focus lies on continuous improvement and innovation in valve technology, ensuring they meet the evolving demands of the automotive industry.

Role Overview:

The Master Scheduler plays a pivotal role in coordinating diverse aspects of production scheduling and materials planning to meet customer demands, optimize productivity, and achieve inventory objectives.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Oversee the production control database for forecasting, inventory, and BOM.
  • Formulate daily production schedules to meet customer demands, anticipating volatile customer schedules.
  • Supervise inventory levels to achieve plant objectives for days on hand (DOH).
  • Remain updated on product-related plans by liaising with various departments.
  • Utilize ERP systems to regulate material flow across production processes.
  • Contribute to capacity reporting, requirement monitoring, and SIOP efforts.
  • Uphold plant objectives for Lean Manufacturing principles.
  • Regularly communicate with manufacturing personnel, suppliers, and customers.
  • Mentor supervisors in production control, planning, and inventory management, coordinating unique projects in production areas.
  • Evaluate supplier performance and respond promptly to sudden customer changes.
  • Adhere strictly to Quality Management System and Environmental Management System guidelines.
  • Fulfill any additional duties as assigned.

Qualification and Education:

  • Possess a High School Diploma/GED from an accredited institution; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Demonstrate effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exhibit accomplished analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Capable of establishing and coordinating multiple priorities.
  • Strong leadership skills are essential.
  • Have a minimum of 4 years' experience in a leadership position within a manufacturing facility.
