ExPost Technology is changing the landscape of sustainable energy storage. We are looking for a self-driven and innovative engineer to join our mission to create a disruptive process for recycling and upcycling lithium batteries. You will be helping to build a circular economy for a critical piece of technology essential to the world's transition to clean energy.
Responsibilities
o Participate in the design and development of our recycling and upcycling process
o Conduct tests, analyze data, identify improvement opportunities, and implement solutions to optimize our process efficiency and yield
o Safely and efficiently collect, sort, and process scrap and spent lithium batteries
o Operate equipment related to our battery recycling process
o Stay up-to-date on the latest developments in lithium battery recycling technologies
o Maintain accurate documentation and test results and prepare testing/technical reports and presentations
Qualifications
o Bachelor's degree or higher in chemical engineering, material science, chemistry, or related field
o Experience in a relevant engineering role, preferably with a focus on lithium battery technology and/or recycling processes
o Strong knowledge of chemicals
o Strong communication and organizational skills
o Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills
o Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
o Positive attitude and passion for sustainability
o Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols
Bonus Points:
o Experience working in battery-related R&D
o Strong understanding of lithium battery architecture and materials
o Knowledge and/or experience with battery recycling technologies
o Experience with process design, optimization, and data analysis
