Akkodis is seeking an Engineering Technician for an Aviation company located in Cincinnati, OH. In this position you be providing technical assistance in all aspects of the setup, de-prep and testing of development engines.
In "hands on" environment in Component Test to set-up and execute tests to obtain engineering and/or component qualification data.
Interface with Component Test customers/customer organizations as required to define test requirements and then assure test requirements are met and communicate test
hardware and test enabling hardware set-up
data acquisition set-up
execution and test execution documentation
troubleshooting
test results reporting and documentation
QUALIFICATIONS:
2-year technical degree (mechanical, electro mechanical, hydro mechanical or similar industrial experience)
Hands on mechanical experience / background
Aviation background with understanding of Jet Engines
