Pay Range: $25 - $30/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for purchasing and negotiating materials, equipment, and supplies from vendors.
Evaluates vendor quotes and services to determine most desirable suppliers.
May require a bachelor's degree and 4-6 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Performs a variety of complicated tasks.
A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
May report to an executive or a manager.
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
Required Keywords: (BUYER OR PURCHASE OR PURCHASING or buying) and (SAP or SCHEDULING OR PLANNING) AND (Electronics or mechanical or defense or aviation or avionics or aero or aerospace or space or navy or Airforce or aircraft)
5+ years Buyer experience.
Buying experience in Electronics and Mechanical.
Defense or Space Buying experience a BIG PLUS.
Strong SAP background.
