JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a motivated individual with wireless experience to oversee a pivotal division of our 3PL services. This position will require the candidate to manage inventory tracking systems, schedule deliveries, and communicate developments in real time through multiple channels of communication. The ideal candidate would be expected to report inventory levels, supply chain progress, procedural efficiency, and personnel issues to upper management. Further responsibilities include identifying factors that could impact operations and documenting billing details. This position requires the candidate to be on site Monday-Friday from 9am-5pm.
KEY RESPONSIBITLIES
Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels, track stock movements, and manage warehouse operations to support on-going projects and direct demand from client.
Documentation and Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of pickups, drop offs, daily activities. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies. Report and process inventory in/out of system via sales order/RMA process.
Transportation Planning: Plan and optimize transportation routes to minimize costs and maximize efficiency.
Communication and Coordination: Liaise with various customers to ensure seamless coordination and alignment of logistical activities with business goals.
Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement within the logistics chain, implement efficiency measures, and suggest enhancements to optimize operations.
Forklift: Ability to operate sit-down forklift and 26' box truck
Asset Management: Effectively and accurately manage and track all incoming and outgoing assets.
QUALIFICATIONS • High School Diploma or equivalent • Three or more years of experience in a warehouse management or wireless role • Excellent problem-solving skills and leadership qualities • Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal • Able to provide support in a fast-paced environment. • Capable to deliver feedback on process and procedures. • Deep understanding of logistics processes, including transportation management, warehouse operations, inventory management, and supply chain principles • Proficient in using logistics software and warehouse management systems • Ability to provide high-quality service to clients and ensuring customer satisfaction through efficient logistics operation • Competent in using productivity software like Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint for data analysis, creating reports, documentation • Proficient in managing emails effectively, including composing, sending, replying, forwarding, and organizing emails into folders via Microsoft Outlook 365 • Netsuite Experience Preferred
