Head of Cyber Risk - Professional Liability

The ideal candidate should possess 5+{ years of experience in cyber insurance from brokerage, retail, T.P.A., M.G.U., and M.G.A. backgrounds. The successful candidate will be able to expand our current clientele, develop key market relationships, and approach the role with a strategic and solution-based mindset.

Job Responsibilities:

  • As a professional in this role, you will be responsible for meeting with clients and prospects to identify and evaluate the potential risks their businesses face in cyber and technology.
  • You can provide detailed presentations of various cyber and technology products and services to new and existing clients, showing how they can best be utilized.
  • Your role will require you to bridge the gap between Executives and Risk Managers, facilitating communication to assess and communicate cyber risks effectively.
  • Maintaining solid client relationships will be crucial to your job as you strive to secure new business opportunities and provide ongoing support.
  • As part of your role, you will analyze client loss exposures and determine appropriate coverage requirements, ensuring they have the best protection.
  • You will also oversee daily transactions for an assigned book of business, which may include conducting audits, making adjustments, processing endorsement requests, analyzing coverage requirements, and managing open items.
  • Improve center of excellence

Qualifications:

  • The position requires a Bachelor's degree in Business or Risk Management and a minimum of 5+ years of experience in the insurance industry.
  • The candidate must have, or be able to acquire, the necessary state broker's licenses.
  • The ideal candidate should possess exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to foster sound relationships with clients, underwriters, and other vendors.
  • A thorough knowledge and understanding of insurance legislation, rules, and regulations are imperative.
  • The candidate should be able to exercise critical thinking skills and initiative to accomplish tasks with minimal errors. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential to effectively communicate with clients, underwriters, and other stakeholders.
  • The candidate should establish and maintain effective work relationships and function well in a team-oriented environment. Leadership skills are also required to lead client and market discussions.
  • The candidate should have good listening skills, be proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel, and use these tools to create presentations, reports, and other documents as needed.
  • The candidate must use their judgment to accomplish tasks with minimal errors.
