Position Summary: (MALIN+GOETZ) is looking for a motivated, collaborative, and experienced Supply Chain professional to join our dynamic, fast-growing company reporting to the Demand Planning Senior Manager. The Demand Planning Manager will be responsible for managing the end-to-end processes of the supply chain to ensure accurate and timely delivery of a category of our products. This individual will need to demonstrate the ability to manage a high degree of cross-functional interaction with Sales, Finance, Creative, and Marketing teams to drive success through our Supply Chain.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the following satisfactorily; other duties may be assigned.
  • Update demand forecast for specific categories of ownership.
  • Work towards a strong forecast accuracy for specific product categories of ownership.
  • Manage internal and external reporting processes (internal PO trackers, vendor open order reports and production reporting analysis).
  • Update SKU attributes, safety stocks and MOQ to ensure accuracy in the ERP System.
  • Weekly analysis of inventory levels to complete Purchase Orders, avoid Out of Stock situations and minimize the risk of aging or overstock.
  • Work with internal Sales and Marketing teams to ensure that all promotions and new initiatives (events) are captured in the demand plan.
  • Work with product development and creative teams to understand current projects and timelines and his/her/their role within that project.
  • Support the Ops team in regular alignment meetings with Sales, Finance, Creative and Product Development.
  • Communicate updates to Bills of Materials internally for contract manufacturers and suppliers to be updated.
  • Facilitate and track supplier PO progress and timelines.
  • Communicate significant changes that will impact quantities and expected dates with other corresponding groups within the supply chain.
  • Regular communication with vendors to build partnership and understand production timing.
  • Responsible for regular reporting on inventory levels and performance.
  • Troubleshooting with suppliers to resolve issues (scheduling, quantities, delays, etc.).

Education/Experience:

Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Ability:

Read, analyze and interpret business, professional, technical or governmental documents. Write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals. Effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, customers and the public.

Mathematical Ability:

Add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Compute rate, ratio and percent, and draw and interpret bar graphs.

Reasoning Ability:

Define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
