LOFT is a full-motion flight simulation training center for professional pilots. We've been around for 20 years, teaching tens of thousands of pilots how to fly CE500, CE525, and CE560XL series airplanes.
Responsibilities:
Performs maintenance functions of full flight simulators, flight training devices, cockpit procedure trainers, and associated support devices in order to meet pilot training, maintenance training, and FAA regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
Understanding of Windows operating systems.
Confidence in disassembling, repairing, and reassembling equipment.
Troubleshooting and repairing low voltage systems. Read and interpret electrical schematics.
General knowledge of UNIX operating systems and C/C++ programming languages is desirable.
Diagnose and repair standard desktop computer components.
You will learn;
To correct and identify discrepancies by troubleshooting electronic, hydraulic, visual, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
Install, replace, clean, repair, and service various equipment including visual generation/display systems, computer networks, motion systems, electronic circuit boards, computers, and circuits.
Perform periodic maintenance and diagnostics on computer and peripheral equipment. Operate and maintain electronic test equipment.
Accomplish pre-flight, morning readiness, and FAA certification checks.
Accomplish software archiving functions.
Utilize simulator software utilities to troubleshoot simulator system discrepancies.
