MODLOGIQ is seeking a full-time, Estimator to join our growing team in our New Holland, PA office. As an Estimator you will be part of our Preconstruction Team,
and will play a crucial role in supporting all aspects of the estimating process.

Specific Job Duties:
- Analyze project plans and specifications to determine the scope of work and materials required.
- Prepare accurate cost estimates for construction projects, including labor, materials, and equipment.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for estimating purposes.
- Utilize construction estimating software to create detailed and comprehensive estimates.
- Review and evaluate bids from subcontractors and suppliers to ensure competitive pricing.
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure the availability of materials at competitive prices.
- Participate in pre-bid meetings to assess project requirements and conditions.
- Prepare detailed take-offs and quantity surveys to accurately estimate materials quantities.
- Create and submit proposals that outline project costs, timelines, and deliverables.
- Occasional travel may be requested.
- Collaborate with Project Managers to develop project budgets and cost control measures.
- Maintain accurate records of estimates and update project cost tracking systems.
- Coordinate sub-trade RFI's.
- Transmit addenda and other bid information to subcontractors.
- Attend Hand-Off Meetings when required to assure a smooth project review and order transaction.
- Knowledge of the Construction CSI Divisions.
- Basic knowledge of Building Codes, Construction, Estimating and Materials.
- Basic blueprint reading; understand reading and interpretation of drawings.
- Able to read and understand specifications.
- Basic knowledge of methods of construction, procedures, practices, materials, equipment, tools, precautions, and safety.
- Minimum High/Technical/Trade School graduate with strong math skills or years of equivalent experience.
- PC proficiency in a Windows® environment, especially in Excel, Word and Outlook and other construction software applications.
- Skills in Time Management and Teamwork.
