Job Description:
Ensure team members are focused on Company Core Values daily & staying BCD-Free
LMA (Leadership, Management, Accountability)
Develop and execute supply chain strategies, which are in alignment with the overall company strategy.
Assess, manage, and mitigate risks across the entire supply chain.
Monitor supplier delivery and performance.
Work with management team to find ways to optimize strategic purchasing methods.
Develop systems to allow easier and better management of inventory.
Right-size inventory to guarantee adequate supply of materials is available to meet the market lead-time expectations.
Direct daily work assignments of the supply chain department (Purchasing, Receiving, Stock Room)
Submit maintenance requests as needed to the Maintenance Department.
Maintain clean department workstations and equipment.
Inspect work of department employees.
Assist in development and motivation of staff through technical and behavioral training
Interpret company policies to workers and maintain a safe and healthy work environment
Recommend measures to improve quality of service and efficiency of department, work crew and equipment.
- Answer customer / vendor inquiries as needed
- Participate in daily production meeting as needed
Ability to operate forklifts and pallet jacks as needed
Provide daily and weekly feedback to Supply Chain team.
Organize and conduct employee performance reviews.
- Track individual and/or company (KPIs) / metrics. Strive for daily improvements.
