Rudy's Prime Steakhouse is on a mission to find the most talented General Manager for our new restaurant opening this summer. We have a great culture, and we put our team first. The space inside the iconic Rudy's building has been designed to be a great restaurant and bar space with an atmosphere that will be appreciated by anyone who shares our passion for design and ambiance. Our General Manager will be supported by an experienced management team and a strong ownership group in expansion mode with two other spaces in the design phase right now.
This offers a huge growth opportunity for a general manager and their team to get in on the ground floor of a fast-growing restaurant group. We are looking for excellent leadership skills, knowledge in the wine and beverage space, and a commitment to training and developing our team. Responsibilities:
Oversee daily operations of the restaurant, including food preparation, service, and customer satisfaction.
Manage and lead a team of employees, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient and effective performance.
Develop and implement strategies to achieve sales targets and increase profitability.
Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to maintain adequate stock.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally and promptly.
Collaborate with the kitchen staff to create and update menu offerings based on customer preferences and market trends.
Conduct interviews, hire, train, and evaluate staff members to maintain a high level of service quality.
Implement policies and procedures to improve operational efficiency and employee productivity.
Experience:
Previous experience in restaurant management or hospitality management is required.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
Knowledge of food handling and safety regulations.
Excellent hospitality skills to effectively interact with customers, staff, and vendors.
Proficiency in inventory management, cost control, and budgeting.
Familiarity with Toast POS software is preferred but not required
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
