Performs a variety of tasks in production assembly operations on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies such as modules, boards, panels, drawers, frames, and cables. Works from diagrams and drawings, makes initial layouts, and uses hand and/or power tools, jigs, and saws.
Makes continuity checks on work in process and completed. May conduct quality inspections on processing line in accordance with quality specifications. May disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test experimental or prototype assemblies and subassemblies according to specifications and under simulated conditions.

Qualifications and Education Requirements
High school diploma or GED and 0-3 years of work experience.
Must have strong mechanical abilities
Minimum 1 year experience in reading and understanding blueprints, electronic schematics, wire lists and work instructions
Work history with mechanical assemblies
Minimum 1 year experience with hand tools and measuring equipment
Willing to travel

Secondary education in a technical school preferred

Must comply with all company security and data protection / usage policies and procedures. Personally responsible for proper marking and handling of all information and materials, in any form. All government and proprietary information will be accessed and stored electronically on company provided resources.
Incumbent must be eligible for DoD Personal Security Clearance.

Must be able to work in confined spaces for long periods
Must be able to work overtime as needed.
Regular schedule is Mon-Fri, beginning at 7AM EST.
Must be able to work 1 weekend rotation per month: Mon-Sat or Tues-Sun. Additional weekend shifts are available for those interested.
