Nili Lotan is seeking a General Manager for our upcoming retail location. The General Manager will oversee all staff, budgets and operations of the business unit and business development and marketing functions. General Manager responsibilities include managing and recommending overall strategy, managing people and established policies. To be successful in this role, you should be a thoughtful leader and a confident decision-maker, helping our people develop and be productive, while ensuring business profitability. Ultimately, you'll help company growth.
Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day operations.
Assist and implement strategy and set goals for growth.
Maintain budgets and optimize expenses.
Maintain policies and processes.
Ensure employees work productively and develop professionally.
Oversee recruitment and training of new employees.
Evaluate and improve operations and financial performance.
Manage the employee assessment process.
Prepare regular reports for business partners.
Ensure staff follow health and safety regulations.
Provide solutions to issues (e.g. profit, employees, operational).
Qualifications
Proven experience as a GM or leadership role.
Luxury retail experience with a focus on clienteling and consignment processes.
Strong analytical ability. Knowledge of business processes and functions (for example: finance, HR, sales, marketing, operations etc.).
Great fashion sense and knowledge of latest trends and brands.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced working environment.

After graduating from the prestigious Shenkar College of Engineering and Design in Tel Aviv, Nili moved to NYC in 1980 to pursue a career in fashion design, where she enjoyed a very successful career leading design teams at top American fashion houses including Ralph Lauren, Liz Claiborne, and Nautica.
