Senior Manager, Clinical Supply Chain Planning:

Location: Menlo Park, CA (Hybrid, 3 days onsite)

Responsibilities:

As the Senior Manager, Clinical Supply Chain Planning, you will be responsible for overseeing the operational activities related to the management of clinical trial materials. Working closely with cross-functional teams, including Clinical Operations, Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, and Regulatory Affairs, you will ensure the efficient and compliant execution of supply chain processes. Key responsibilities include:
  • Executing day-to-day operational activities, including inventory management, labeling, packaging, and distribution of clinical trial materials, in accordance with study protocols and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to forecast demand, plan supply needs, and ensure timely delivery of clinical trial materials to study sites.
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with vendors, suppliers, and logistics partners to ensure reliable and cost-effective supply chain solutions.
  • Implementing best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to optimize supply chain processes, enhance operational efficiency, and mitigate risks.
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies related to the management of clinical trial materials.

Qualifications:

The successful candidate will have:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field. An advanced degree is a plus.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in clinical supply chain operations within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry, with a solid understanding of supply chain processes and regulatory requirements.
  • Proficiency in supply chain management tools and software, as well as excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to effectively prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • The ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment, as well as independently with minimal supervision.
