As the Senior Manager, Clinical Supply Chain Planning, you will be responsible for overseeing the operational activities related to the management of clinical trial materials. Working closely with cross-functional teams, including Clinical Operations, Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, and Regulatory Affairs, you will ensure the efficient and compliant execution of supply chain processes. Key responsibilities include:
Executing day-to-day operational activities, including inventory management, labeling, packaging, and distribution of clinical trial materials, in accordance with study protocols and regulatory requirements.
Coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to forecast demand, plan supply needs, and ensure timely delivery of clinical trial materials to study sites.
Developing and maintaining relationships with vendors, suppliers, and logistics partners to ensure reliable and cost-effective supply chain solutions.
Implementing best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to optimize supply chain processes, enhance operational efficiency, and mitigate risks.
Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies related to the management of clinical trial materials.
Qualifications:
The successful candidate will have:
A Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field. An advanced degree is a plus.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in clinical supply chain operations within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry, with a solid understanding of supply chain processes and regulatory requirements.
Proficiency in supply chain management tools and software, as well as excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to effectively prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
The ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment, as well as independently with minimal supervision.
