The position offered is a Compliance Engineer in our Product Engineering department. Must be adept at the process, application and compliance aspects of instituting North American and European certifications to electrical, construction and building products. Duties include but not limited to:
Responsible for certification of products with regulatory standards such as UL, IBC, FCC, CE, CSN, CA and Title 24
Communicate and work with certification bodies and agencies to obtain certificate renewals
Obtain official documents from the factories, local representative agreement in some countries, authorization letters, etc.
Maintain technical files, test reports, country certificates, declarations of conformity in a compliance database
Coordinate with Engineering and Operations teammates in updating product compliance labels with the appropriate country logos and approval stamps
This position requires 2+ years of experience in regulatory compliance and testing procedures, must have expert organizational skills, be detail oriented, and able to work well in a team environment. Candidates should be ambitious and self-motivated. A high level of computer literacy is essential.
Candidates must be able to reliably commute to Scotts Valley, CA. This is a great opportunity for Bay Area candidates to work in a reverse commute environment to Santa Cruz County. Warmboard Inc. will not relocate candidates.
