Our partner, an industrial distribution and manufacturing company, is immediately seeking a Branch Operations Supervisor for their Lakeville, MN office. The Branch Operations Supervisor will be responsiblefor timely compilation and maintenance of performance metrics for the facility and its personnel.
Branch Operations Supervisor Responsibilities:
Lead, monitor and provide guidance to facility staff to enhance performance, manage operating costs and boost productivity
Oversee the reception, storage, quality control and reconciliation of all inventory within the facility
Manage paperwork processing and ensure timely transmission of data to relevant internal parties
Notify the Fleet Supervisor of any truck or vehicle maintenance issues and assist in coordinating local repair efforts
Establish and enforce policies and procedures while tracking facility performance metrics, including incident logs, service failures and adherence to Standard Operating Procedures
Manage fee applications, lead times, quality control measures and other operational aspects
Maintain the cleanliness, upkeep and functionality of the facility and its equipment
Assist customers, carriers and contractors as needed within the facility
Offer consultation and recommendations regarding the performance of personnel and equipment within the facility
Supervise and implement Security, Health, Safety and Regulatory compliance protocols at the facility
Liaise with Human Resources regarding performance matters, disciplinary actions, staffing requirements and associate hiring or termination
Organize monthly meetings and training sessions for drivers and warehouse staff, as well as additional training sessions as necessary
Branch Operations Supervisor Requirements:
Bachelor's degree preferred
4+ years of experience in a warehouse or logistics supervisory role, managing a fleet
Valid driver's license, CDL preferred
Excellent organizational, problem solving and strategic thinking skills
