SAP Applications Engineer Location: San Jose, Ca. Direct Hire / FTE Hybrid - 2 days in the office Salary: $130k - $140k per annum Local Candidates highly desired! This position requires 3 to 5 years of SAP application module support experience. We are seeking an SAP application engineer to support internal and external users. Primary functions include SAP ERP software support, ABAP programming, system security, and IT contractor interface.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Effectively uses teamwork skills to interact and collaborate on articulating and comparing alternative approaches to software engineering technical issues * Strong programming and technical configuration skills in SAP ABAP (Advanced Business Applications Programming) and development/experience in FI, CO, SD, MM, Warehouse modules (6.0) * Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills for design, creation, and testing of programs * Excellent communicator who understands how to share information effectively in a cross-functional environment (both written & oral) * Demonstrated track record for design and developing complex enterprise solutions using SAP and Non-SAP technologies * Supports the assessment of system requirements, identifying and addressing any potential issues prior to implementation
Qualifications: * BS degree in computer science or electrical engineering, MS degree preferred * At least 3 years' experience in SAP application module support including finance, control, sales and Concur * Minimum of 3 years' experience in ABAP programming * Excellent organizational, time management and prioritization skills with ability to juggle multiple demands to achieve tight deadlines * Excellent inter-personal skills and experience working in team environment
