We're in search of a skilled and detail-oriented Lead Distillate Extractor who is passionate about the cannabis industry and possesses strong leadership abilities. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in cannabis extraction (KD-10) , particularly in distillation processes, and a proven track record of managing teams and optimizing production workflows. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and a commitment to fostering a collaborative work environment.
Responsibilities:
Lead and supervise a team of extractors, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure consistent performance and adherence to quality standards.
Oversee all aspects of distillation processes, including equipment operation, process optimization, and product quality control.
Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) and best practices to improve efficiency, safety, and product consistency.
Monitor production metrics and analyze data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product development initiatives and implement process improvements.
Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and ensure adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and safety protocols.
Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities to ensure proper maintenance and troubleshoot technical issues as they arise.
Maintain accurate production records and documentation to track batch information, yields, and quality metrics.
