The SQL Data Analyst will play a pivotal role in supporting financial, merchandising, and operations analysis, specifically targeting enhancements in supply chain performance. Key duties include:
Crafting demand forecasts across various levels of aggregation and timeframes to aid in demand planning.
Analyzing historical sales trends, identifying demand drivers, and employing statistical models to generate forecast data.
Managing cross-functional projects with stringent timelines.
Collaborating with the Supply Planning team to devise inventory strategies for existing, new, and phasing-out products.
Prioritizing tasks, maintaining meticulous attention to detail, and thriving in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Leveraging analytical prowess to substantiate assumptions, offer recommendations, and drive informed decisions.
Facilitating information flow between the buying team, vendors, Inventory Management, and Merchandising teams.
Exhibiting a keen eye for detail, effective communication skills, and adeptness in managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
Resolving discrepancies in vendor shipping and executing inventory positioning recommendations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree.
Proficiency in Excel, SQL, and database management with at least 4 years of experience.
Preferably, familiarity with the retail industry.
Minimum of 4 years of experience in transactional analytics, logistics/supply chain management, procurement, and inventory management.
Ability to extract actionable insights from diverse datasets.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, conducive to effective collaboration.
