Position Overview:

We are seeking a growth oriented General Manager to grow market share in wear part sectors while maintaining years of an established commitment to quality. The General Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the manufacturing facility, leading a team and ensuring operational excellence. As a strategic leader, you will be tasked with achieving financial objectives, implementing best practices and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:
  • Sales and Business Development: Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth and expand market penetration. Identify new business opportunities, cultivate relationships with potential customers, and negotiate contracts to secure profitable partnerships.
  • Strategic Planning: Lead the development and implementation of strategic plans to capitalize on market trends, optimize product offerings, and achieve sustainable growth targets. Evaluate market dynamics, competitive landscape, and customer needs to inform strategic decision-making
  • Customer Relations: Build a team of high performing account managers that can maintain strong relationships with key customers, serving as trusted advisors and advocate for their needs, anticipate opportunities, and resolve issues promptly to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Product Innovation: Collaborate with engineering to drive product innovation and differentiation. Identify emerging trends, market demands, and customer preferences to develop innovative solutions that enhance our competitive position and drive revenue growth.
  • Financial Management: Manage budgetary allocations and financial performance to optimize profitability and cash flow. Monitor key financial metrics, analyze performance trends, and implement cost-effective measures to improve operational efficiency and maximize ROI.
  • Team Leadership: Provide visionary leadership to cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Empower employees to achieve their full potential, recognize achievements, and promote a positive work environment conducive to innovation and growth.
  • Performance Evaluation: Establish performance metrics and KPIs to measure progress towards sales and growth objectives. Conduct regular performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and implement corrective actions as needed to drive continuous improvement and achieve business goals.
  • Responsible for Manufacturing: Oversee and coordinate with team leaders the day-to-day manufacturing operations to ensure smooth production processes. Empower managers to implement strategies to enhance productivity, minimize downtime, reduce costs and ensure compliance with industry regulations and product quality requirements.
  • Vendor Management: Collaborate with procurement and sourcing teams to manage relationships with suppliers and vendors.
  • Promote a Culture of Continuous Improvement: encouraging efficiency throughout the manufacturing process.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Operations Management or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control and supply chain management required..
  • Basic knowledge of health, safety and environmental regulations in a manufacturing setting.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in a senior management role with a proven track record of driving sales growth and business expansion, preferably in the manufacturing or industrial sector.
  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to identify market opportunities, develop actionable plans, and execute effectively.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve ambitious goals.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, and industry stakeholders.
  • Strategic mindset with a focus on innovation, creativity, and continuous improvement.
  • Financial acumen with experience in budget management, cost optimization, financial analysis, and performance metrics tracking.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and influence key stakeholders.
