LHH Recruitment Solutions (formerly Ajilon) is seeking a Plant Manager for a Direct Hire, Permanent Placement position with a automotive manufacturing client on the westside of Indianapolis. In this leadership roles, the Plant Manager is responsible for executing and coordinating plans for the manufacturing processes of materials as well as providing support to their team. The compensation is commensurate to experience and ranges between $115-125k per year which includes a 5%+ bonus, comprehensive benefit package, Paid Time Off, and a 401K plan.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Directs the daily production operations and monitors operations for efficiency and safety, ensuring all applicable regulatory requirements are met.
Champion a safety culture, ensure a safe work environment and cultivate safe behavior.
Training, Leadership Development and Succession Planning.
Responsible for fostering an inclusive and positive team environment that provides an open exchange of ideas stressing honesty, integrity and respect and providing open participation to achieve desired results.
Responsible for all daily manufacturing operations including but not limited to budgeting, forecasting, production, materials/logistics, shipping & receiving, safety, engineering, and quality
Accountable for Budgeting, Forecasting, P&L
Drives collaborative team culture
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's Degree is strongly preferred but not required with applicable years of experience
5+ years of experience in a management role where you were held accountable for leadership training, KPIs, performance development
10+ years of experience in Consumer Products/On-Demand Manufacturing environment with plastics and/or metal products
Production leadership experience with multiple lines is required
Experience working with Continuous Improvement methods
Knowledge of Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing
Experience with ERP Systems & implementations
