Responsibilities
The Corporate Purchasing Manager is responsible for overseeing the purchasing function of the Automotive business segment:
Develop & lead purchasing strategies
Partner with stakeholders to ensure clear purchasing requirements
Craft negotiation strategies and close deals with optimal terms
Prepare various reports regarding market conditions & department activities
Perform cost & scenario analysis and benchmarking
Work with management to coordinate purchasing & buyer activities
Lead monthly team meetings to educate & facilitate information sharing
Other duties as assigned
Travel up to 25%
Experience
Bachelor's in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain Management or Purchasing
9+ years of experience in purchasing function
SAP practical knowledge
