We're seeking an experienced, skilled Estimator to join our dynamic team.
Responsibilities:
Analyze project specifications, drawings, and other documents to identify project requirements.
Utilize industry knowledge to prepare accurate and competitive estimates for steel erection projects; including take-offs, crew size selection and application based on work type and union rules, equipment selection, productivity rates, etc...
Proficiently use Excel and Bluebeam for precise quantity takeoffs and pricing.
Stay updated on industry trends and pricing to ensure competitiveness.
Contribute to the improvement of estimating structure to modernize estimating production and output.
Requirements:
Proven experience (10+ years) as an Estimator in the steel erection field.
Advanced proficiency in Excel and Bluebeam.
Ability to read and comprehend blueprints, with an understanding of scope of work to bid.
Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
