Salary: We offer a competitive salary with a range of $100,000- $130,000 based on experience and skill set. This position is eligible to participate in the Signode annual bonus program with a target of 15% of base salary.

Essential duties and responsibilities include:

  • Continually improve safety record by addressing both physical safety issues and employee safety attitudes.
  • Ensures safety and environmental guidelines are complete and compliance is enforced.
  • Ensures the efficient and effective operation of the plant by directing and managing all plant operations with overall responsibilities for production, maintenance, quality, and other production-related activities.
  • Coordinate plant activities through planning with departmental managers to ensure the total manufacturing objectives are accomplished in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  • Initiate plans and processes which minimize manufacturing costs and downtime through effective utilization of manpower, equipment, facilities, materials, and capital.
  • Ensure attainment of business objectives and production schedules that meet or exceed our company's customer expectations.
  • Maintain productivity levels through effective monitoring of staffing levels and financial requirements. - Develop and control profits plans and budget
  • Manage spending against budget in relations to changes in production volume.
  • Work to establish management practices throughout assigned areas which include all employee's positive involvement with opportunity for input and action.
  • Provide leadership and training to accomplish the company goals and objectives - Provide direction, development, and leadership to the entire manufacturing team.
  • Manage a multiple shift operation.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Manufacturing
  • 7 - 10 years of progressive plant/manufacturing management experience
  • Thorough knowledge of all plant operating processes and equipment, purchasing procedures, safety procedures, governmental regulations, and company policies.
  • Experience in selecting, defining roles, leading/mentoring/motivating a team.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills along with working knowledge of MS Office
  • Must be available to respond to emergency situations as needed.
