Job Description:
IN OFFICE POSITION The Eagle Leasing Company, the Northeast's leading independent trailer and container leasing company, boasts a rich history as a family-owned business since 1967. Recognized for our financial stability, we specialize in leasing and selling premium storage, road, and office trailers, as well as storage containers. Our facilities in Orange, CT, Southboro, MA, and Oxford, MA are the most comprehensive trailer and container repair facilities in the Northeast.
Position: Procurement Specialist
Location: Orange, CT *IN OFFICE ONLY*
Work hours: 8am-5pm
Compensation: 40 regular hours + overtime, paid weekly
Salary range: Starting at $65,000
The Procurement Specialist is responsible for finding goods and services for the company at the best value regarding quality and prices.
Primary Responsibilities:
Identify suppliers of goods or services that meet the quantity and quality expectations of the organization.
Evaluate and negotiate contracts with vendors.
Manage inventory and restock goods when needed.
Check invoices to ensure accuracy billing and products delivered.
Compare available goods with industry trends to determine appropriate pricing.
Responsible for gathering, analyzing, and preparing documents like quotes, proposals, purchase terms and conditions from suppliers.

Exceptional interpersonal skills and rapport building.
Ability to manage multiple projects at one time.
Ability to plan, delegate and evaluate progress toward goals in managing multiple projects.

Education, Experience, Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in related field preferred
Proven experience working as a procurement specialist in the same area required.
Certified Purchasing Professional (CPP) certification is a plus but not necessary.
Strong knowledge of the industry and market conditions
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
Ability to travel to all Eagle Leasing locations as needed
