As a Preconstruction Director for Renewable Energy, you will play a pivotal role in the development and execution of our renewable energy market growth strategy. Working closely with the WBE executive team, you will identify and pursue profitable opportunities, build key industry relationships, and contribute to the overall success and recognition of the WBE brand.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the WBE executive team to develop a comprehensive renewable energy market growth strategy.
  • Identify and pursue profitable opportunities through in-depth Preconstruction approaches.
  • Build and foster relationships with owners, developers, and industry stakeholders by actively participating in conferences and events.
  • Provide leadership and experience to support the growth of WBE's brand recognition and financial success in the renewable energy sector.
  • Develop technical specifications and manage request for proposal for clients sourcing renewable energy programs.
  • Prepare projects for build ready construction from early development to handover to construction team.
  • Ensure the required engineering is complete for bidding and construction, assist in the interconnection process, and the scopes of work are aligned in preparation for bidding.
  • Research leading sustainability programs and initiatives, including market innovations.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as required.

Preferred Experience and Skills:
  • Proven experience in renewable energy projects, including knowledge of products, engineering, and procurement processes.
  • Motivated and goal-driven mindset with a strong commitment to achieving targets and contributing to organizational success.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients, partners, and internal teams.
  • Ability to research and analyze market strategies, understand deal requirements, assess risks, and evaluate the financial viability of projects.
