Bascom Hunter Technologies Inc. is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to support the BH Tech division. We're looking for candidates with a technical background and willingness to learn.
Bascom Hunter provides solutions to the Department of Defense (DoD) and Aerospace markets across various disciplines. Our BH Tech division currently provides products and services across four product lines: RF Systems, RF Components, Neuromorphic Processors and Photonics.
Candidates will office at our O'Fallon, MO location. Compensation will be commensurate with experience.
Job Duties
Design for automation and development of assembly automation
Support manufacturing line and general manufacturing operations
Program MyCronic machines to take bare boards and components by confirming specifications to produce completed circuit boards
Conducting visual, corrective, and BOM accuracy inspection of product to ensure quality and specification accuracy
Ability to run SMT equipment including but not limited to: Paste printer, pick and place, reflow oven etc.
Load programs, monitor, basic troubleshooting and general maintenance of PCBA manufacturing equipment
Develop and/or maintain manufacturing and test procedures
Adhere to IPC-A-610 and AS9100 policies and procedures
Required Qualifications
BS in Electrical Engineering or Process Engineering (or related degree) with relevant experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other job associated software
Experience with DBA or equivalent MRP software
A United States Citizen, able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Defense Security Clearance.
Willing and able to support other disciplines outside your discipline of expertise
Results oriented with drive (self-starter)
Ability to manage multiple and competing priorities
