The Production Planner's primary responsibilities are ensuring all products required by internal and external customers are manufactured, shipped, and delivered on-time.
PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Production Planning
Develop production planning forecasts
Use & maintain production planning software as the primary tool
Plan, schedule, release, & control production orders based on MRP requirements
Review sales orders & collaborate with sales, marketing, production, & other groups
Purchase standard and non-standard services to support production & customer needs
Follow up on late orders, & expedite as needed
Maintain supplier material certification database
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelors Degree or High school diploma
Working knowledge of MS Office & ERP systems
Excellent communication skills to work cross-functionally
Highly organized with strong time management & prioritization skills
Strong math & statistics background

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Duties are primarily performed in an office environment while sitting at a desk or computer terminal.
