A growing consumer services company in Illinois is looking to add a new Supply Chain Associate to their growing team. In this position, the Supply Chain Associate will focus on optimizing service performance, analyzing inventory data, and assisting with MRP settings adjustments.
Responsibilities:
The Supply Chain Associate will:
Conduct root cause analysis to identify factors impacting service performance
Develop and implement action plans to address identified issues and improve service levels
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and execution of improvement initiatives
Analyze inventory data to identify desynchronization issues and areas for improvement
Implement solutions to optimize inventory levels and reduce discrepancies
Work closely with internal teams and suppliers to address inventory-related challenges
Assist in updating planning parameters in Infor M3 for both purchase orders (POs) and delivery orders (DOs)
Ensure accuracy and alignment of MRP settings with supply chain objectives and demand forecasts
Utilize expertise in Excel, Power BI, and SQL to analyze supply chain data and generate actionable insights
Develop reports and dashboards to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and track progress against targets
Collaborate with procurement, production, and logistics teams to ensure effective coordination and execution of supply chain plans
Communicate regularly with internal stakeholders to provide updates on planning activities and address any issues or concerns
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
Proven experience in Supply Chain planning, analysis, or related roles
Expertise in Excel, Power BI, and SQL for data analysis and reporting
Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality
Desired Skills:
Experience with supply chain planning systems, particularly Infor M3
