Purchasing Analyst at Shearer Supply, Inc. in Dallas, Texas

Job Description:

This position will report primarily into the Residential Equipment Purchasing Department.

Responsibilities:

• Purchasing and maintaining partnerships with Shearer Supply residential equipment vendors.
• Maintaining balanced inventory while staying within a given budget across 32 warehouses companywide for assigned product families.
• Negotiating pricing and payment terms with third-party residential equipment vendors.
• Coordinating the delivery of incoming residential equipment shipments
• Assisting the distribution of inventory throughout the company.
• Utilizing system reports and inventory KPIs to measure performance.
• Working within a small team to accomplish company goals.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or Mathematics
• Analytical thought processing
• Expert skills in Microsoft Excel
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Ability to negotiate
