Job Description:

MAIN FUNCTION:

Execute purchasing and planning activities within the assigned category. Assume responsibility for planning requirements and supply chain management to ensure timely (Scheduled) deliveries of goods. Perform all operational activities related to the procurement of products, materials, and/or services.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree in business discipline, or equivalent
  • 8+ years procurement experience, preferably in consumer electronics
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including ability to communicate effectively in English
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects and work with limited or no supervision
  • Knowledge of procurement strategy in supplier, sourcing, and supply chain
  • Self-starter with high level of motivation, process driven
  • Proven ability to function in fast paced environment
  • Capable to independently interact with other departments and suppliers
  • Well organized with good attention to details
  • Sound quantitative and analytical skills
  • Strong problem solving and interpersonal skills
  • ERP/MRP experience; Advanced skills of MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Purchase Order Management, including but not limited to RFx, issue POs timely and accurately, update pricing, and review and update production scheduling.
  • Assist Procurement Manager to place and maintain Purchase Orders and Subcontracting Jobs associated to GRAPHICS category.
  • Ensure consigned material at CMs match required assembly and issued to internal jobs.
  • Oversee inventory receipts of PNY consigned material and finished goods.
  • Work with Finance's Inventory Control department to ensure inventory at contract manufacturers is properly reconciled.
  • Work with RMA department to move consigned material from Jobs to "Yield Loss" to enable RMA process of GPU and/or Memory to Nvidia.
  • Process Drop shipment Purchase orders for intercompany sales orders for Graphics Category.
  • Responsible to work with PNY Suppliers and on purchase order modifications requests and communicate to other internal departments as needed.
  • Execute MRP; review and analyze forecast as needed related to inventory liability and on time delivery.
  • Accountable for problem solving through root cause investigation, resolve receiving/quality issues, trace product qualifications and communicate within PNY employees and Suppliers.
  • Assist with implementation of supply chain initiatives.
  • Support Quarterly Business Reviews including but not limit to data collection, analysis, and presentation slide.
  • Perform category reporting as needed; including Open Backlog, spend analysis, GPU reports, etc.
  • Maintain Procurement related part and supplier information in company ERP system.
  • Assist in other areas/categories, as assigned.
