Position: Master Scheduler

As Master Scheduler, you will be responsible for coordinating, planning, scheduling, and overseeing product throughout the production process ensuring that all processes and schedules set by the Company are followed in order to attain the greatest efficiency. You will develop and maintain accurate and achievable production schedules for each global location, consistent with the available capacity and in support of on-time delivery of customer orders.

Responsibilities may include:
• Oversee capacity planning activities associated with multiple sites' production to ensure that each site meets and/or exceeds its commitments to both internal and external customers
• Establish an achievable Master Schedule that aligns with Manufacturing capacity across all plant locations
• Manage the backlog reporting activity and the past-due reporting activity
• Lead the capacity planning meeting to review the results of our capacity modeling as well as aligning with manufacturing and process engineering on following week's /month's targets
• Distribute production schedules to each global location in a timely fashion while ensuring that any discrepancies in the company's schedule are accounted for
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, logistics, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless coordination throughout the supply chain
• Collaborate with Supply Chain personnel (buyers) to ensure raw material inventory levels are maintained to support of the assigned plant locations with consideration for supply risk, obsolescence, shelf life, and material lead times
• Work hand-in-hand with other employees to make sure that all issues that are related to scheduling are properly handled and resolved
• Assist the global outside sales team with scheduling, processing quotes, data entry, and other daily functions focusing on customers' satisfaction and coordinating sales team activities necessary to support the Company's Sales goals
• Responsible for all timely scheduling of customer orders and supervision activities related to material planning, receiving and/or shipping, storage, and dispatch to meet Customer requirements and Company objectives
• Design, measure, and communicate metrics that track the effectiveness of production planning and manufacturing execution; initiate root cause problem solving to analyze variability and improve performance
• Analyze and troubleshoot problems in planning and execution, and generate alternatives to resolve both internal and external processing constraints
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within department.
• Recognize your role as part of the Company's Quality Objective; follow established policies and procedures in support of the Company's Quality and AS9100 standards and initiatives
• Maintain work area in a clean, orderly, and safe manner
• Perform other job related duties as assigned
• All other tasks as assigned by Supply Chain Management

Experience/Education:
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, supply chain, business management, or related discipline
• Proven experience as a Master Scheduler or in a similar role
• 5+ years working experience in Production or Materials Planning in a manufacturing environment
• Proficient in practical application of MRP logic
• Strong understanding of ERP systems
