Director of Food & Beverage Overview:

The Food & Beverage Director is pivotal in ensuring exceptional dining experiences for members and guests across all F&B outlets while maintaining budgetary targets and enhancing overall satisfaction. This position encompasses managing dining room service, supervising staff, implementing sales strategies, and fostering positive relationships within the club.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage dining room service to exceed member and guest expectations.
  • Recruit, train, and lead dining room staff to uphold service standards.
  • Oversee budget, expenses, and regulatory compliance.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef to ensure food quality and service excellence.
  • Develop and execute training and marketing initiatives to drive sales.
  • Address member feedback and resolve concerns promptly.
  • Ensure efficient bar operations and maintain cleanliness standards.
  • Coordinate with other departments for seamless event execution.
  • Monitor staffing, payroll, and inventory levels.
  • Maintain records, conduct performance evaluations, and liaise with management.

Qualifications:
  • 4-6 years of Food & Beverage management experience or equivalent.
  • A bachelor's degree in hospitality management or a related field is preferred.
  • Exceptional leadership skills with a positive attitude and strategic mindset.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in POS systems, Microsoft Office, and inventory management.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Adaptable and open-minded approach to change and problem-solving.

Additional Skills and Traits:
  • Self-motivated with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with team members and stakeholders.
  • Commitment to upholding high standards of cleanliness, safety, and service.
  • Familiarity with industry trends and best practices in Food & Beverage management.

Safety and Physical Requirements:
  • Awareness of occupational hazards and ability to perform required roles.
  • Ability to stand for long periods, walk, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, stretch, and lift objects up to 50 pounds.

Compensation and Benefits:
  • Salary: $80,000 - $130,000 (based on experience).
  • Bonus opportunities.
