About The Role
We seek a self-motivated, skilled, and detail-oriented Fabricator Technician to join our dynamic team in building innovative products. The Fabricator Technician role is responsible for, among other things, fabricating and assembling various components and structures according to blueprints, drawings, and specifications, ensuring the highest quality standards are met. The ideal candidate will have experience working with various metals, plastics, composites, or a combination of those materials and possess strong technical abilities. This position requires strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently and collaboratively, with a commitment to excellence.

Responsibilities
  • Fabricate parts and assemblies from steel and other materials as indicated by the work order, by drawings, and/or by feedback from product development engineering
  • Read prints, engineering plans, and blueprints to understand project requirements and specifications
  • Prepare fabricated metals for welding, ensuring proper fit and alignment
  • Handle inventory, work in process, and waste material in a responsible manner
  • Assist with material handling and job staging to ensure efficient workflow
  • Ensure proper shop maintenance, including cleaning and organizing work areas daily
  • Utilize a forklift or other mobile equipment as necessary to move material, parts, and assemblies safely
  • Actively engage in continuous learning and skill development, remain current on new fabrication techniques, tools, and technologies
  • Support and guide team members with technical issues and share expertise to facilitate team development
  • Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other departments to ensure seamless coordination and completion of projects
  • Handle any required task necessary to fulfill company and stakeholder needs
  • Adhere to Enexor Fabrication hours which are typically 7am to 3:30pm Mon-Fri with overtime and weekend work as needed. Overtime participation is considered a condition of employment
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in fabrication
  • Experience using hand tools and other fabrication tools (band saw, drill press, press brake, grinders, etc.)
  • Experience using precision measuring instruments
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and engineering drawings (product manuals, 2D and 3D drawings, models)
  • Demonstrated acumen for organization, communication, and ability to follow processes in work execution
  • Hands-on knowledge of fabrication techniques
  • Familiarity with MIG and TIG welding processes and support of such
  • Flexibility with work hours, including extended days, evenings, nights, and weekends as required to support company objectives
  • General knowledge of hand tools
  • Safety-oriented mindset
  • Attention to detail and focus on tasks
  • Must be able to lift at least 25lbs
  • Ability to stoop, bend, kneel, squat, sit, walk, and climb for extended periods of time
  • Forklift operation certification (a plus)
  • OSHA certifications (a plus)
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • High school diploma, GED, or trade school education
