The Associate Product Merchant will serve as a key member of the Family Farm & Home merchandising team supporting and partnering in all core functions including assortment, pricing, customer experience, and marketing. the merchandising team in developing a best in class customer experience through in-store merchandising and website content management.
the merchandising team in developing advertising plans that drive profitable sales while utilizing all marketing channels.
the merchandising team in driving costs out of the business through a commitment to vendor negotiation and strategic purchasing.
with the inventory team to maximize return on investment through strategic inventory management.
as a business owner and diligently manage the financials of an assigned category.
cross functionally with key internal partners to manage timelines and move merchandising projects forward.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree; or equivalent retail experience required.
1-5 years of experience in a retail inventory or merchandising role.
2+ years of experience in the retail industry.
Enthusiasm, Initiative and passion for retail.
Confidence in negotiation, networking, and building relationships.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask and stay organized.
Office computer skills; able to learn company systems and tools, preference for Microsoft application experience.
