The Product Merchant will serve as a key member of the Family Farm & Home merchandising team and will be responsible for ownership of an assigned category of business. Leading the strategic direction and execution of all core merchandising functions including assortment, pricing, customer experience, marketing, inventory planning, and vendor partnership. An opportunity to work in a fast paced and innovative environment while leading cross functional retail initiatives across Family Farm & Home's 70+ retail locations.

a best in class customer experience through in-store merchandising and website content management.
advertising plans that drive profitable sales while utilizing all marketing channels.
costs out of the business through a commitment to vendor negotiation and strategic purchasing.
with the inventory team to maximize return on investment through strategic inventory management.
cross functionally with key internal partners to manage timelines and move merchandising projects forward.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree; or equivalent retail experience required.
3-5 years of experience in a retail inventory or merchandising role.
5+ years of experience in the retail industry.
Enthusiasm, Initiative and passion for retail.
Confidence in negotiation, networking, and building relationships.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask and stay organized.
Office computer skills; able to learn company systems and tools, preference for Microsoft application experience.
