LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Word Processing Operator for a large firm in NYC. This role responsible for general document services assistance including preparation of complex legal documents using styles and other advanced functions as necessary. This opportunity is hybrid and full time.
Hours: 9:30am to 5:30pm, availability for overtime
Responsibilities:
Revise and create documents in Microsoft Office with attention to detail for spelling and grammar
Generate Table of Contents, Table of Authorities and merges in Word
Combine tracked changes from multiple authors
Transcription of audio or video recordings into text
Conversion to and from Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat PDF
Add images, text, comments, and highlights in PDFs and insert, remove and reorganize pages
Create and modify form fields utilizing Adobe Acrobat
Assist with data entry and running reports from the conflicts management system
Qualifications:
5+ years of litigation experience in a law firm setting required
Expert-level with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
High level of proficiency in Adobe Acrobat Pro; working knowledge of Adobe CC a plus
Ability to work independently and read, comprehend, and accurately follow both oral and written instructions
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Must be willing to work overtime
Benefits: This is a posting on the behalf of LHH's client. The benefits may include health, vision, and dental insurance as well as PTO. The salary range is $90K-$95K based on experience.
