DataOps and AIOps Lead




Job Description:



We are seeking a visionary DataOps and AIOps Lead to spearhead our initiatives in optimizing data management processes and leveraging artificial intelligence for operational excellence. This role is pivotal in driving the adoption of DataOps and AIOps practices, facilitating seamless collaboration between data scientists, IT operations, and software development teams. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of data architecture, AI technologies, and automation tools, with a passion for transforming data insights into actionable improvements across our technology stack.



Responsibilities:





  • Develop and implement a comprehensive DataOps strategy, promoting agile and collaborative practices that improve the quality of data analytics.

  • Implement and oversee data quality frameworks to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency of data across all platforms and systems, enabling trusted analytics and decision-making processes.

  • Establish data versioning practices to manage changes and updates to datasets and models efficiently, ensuring reproducibility and traceability of data and AI/ML models across all stages of the lifecycle.

  • Develop policies and procedures for regular data quality audits and assessments, leveraging automated tools and AI algorithms to identify and rectify data inconsistencies, duplications, and anomalies.

  • Champion the integration of data governance and metadata management tools to enhance data quality, visibility, and access control, facilitating a collaborative and informed data ecosystem.

  • Promote a culture of data accountability and ownership, where data quality and versioning are integral to the development and operational processes, ensuring that all team members are committed to maintaining high data standards.

  • Lead the AIOps initiative, integrating AI and machine learning models into IT operations to automate and enhance system monitoring, incident response, and performance analysis.

  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, leveraging real-time data and AI-driven insights to optimize operations, reduce downtime, and predict system failures before they occur.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process automation, data integration, and AI applications that support business objectives and innovation.

  • Develop metrics and KPIs to measure the effectiveness of DataOps and AIOps initiatives, reporting on progress to stakeholders and continuously refining our approach based on feedback and results.




Requirements:





  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in data-related roles with at least 2 years in a leadership position focused on DataOps, AIOps, or similar disciplines.

  • Proven track record in implementing DataOps and AIOps practices, with a deep understanding of data management, AI technologies, and automation.

  • Strong knowledge of data architecture and data integration methodologies.

  • Experience with AI and machine learning algorithms and their application in operational settings.

  • Proficiency in automation and orchestration tools (e.g., Dagster or Prefect).

  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to bridge the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders.




Over and Above:





  • Certifications in data science, artificial intelligence, or related fields.

  • Experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their data services.

  • Knowledge of IT service management (ITSM) and IT operations management (ITOM) practices.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional projects and drive innovation in a fast-paced environment.




Compensation:


Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $101,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $204,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
