**This role is based in Bentonville, AR and would require relocation if currently residing outside the area**


Walmart is a people-led, tech-powered company, and we are searching for an experienced technology communicator who wants to be at the center of it. This role is responsible for positioning Walmart as the leader of the next era of retail - adaptive retail - and highlighting how emerging technologies like GenAI, AI and AR/VR/Mixed Reality are powering this transformation. We need someone who's fired up and ready to lean in. It's a fast-paced role for someone who wants to push the boundaries of what's possible, while bringing joy, fun and laughter to the workplace.



You'll make an impact by:

• Creating a bold strategy that highlights the incredible emerging technologies powering Walmart U.S.


• Proactively and regularly investing time to build relationships with national and local reporters, producers and editors


• Collaborating across global communications team members, improving culture while telling multi-dimensional stories


• Communicating with brevity and purpose, making complex tech topics simple and easy to understand


• Establishing Walmart Global Tech and its key GenAI, AI, AR/VR executives as industry leaders as experts


• Modernizing the way we communicate, constantly testing new ways to make an impact

Minimum Qualifications...

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Business, or related field and 5 years' experience in public relations, communications, or relevant area OR 7 years' experience in public relations, communications, or relevant area. 2 years' supervisory experience or experience leading cross-functional teams.
