The Performance Management team serves as an internal partner and advocate for the Consumer Banking division of the bank. The primary responsibilities of the team include business line analysis and insights, Budgeting, Forecasting, and providing concise and actionable information that gives Management the visibility and insight they need to make sound decisions and plans.


As an analyst in the Consumer Banking Division, you will apply your strategic, analytical, and communication skills to translate data and information to clear presentations to provide Management with solutions, ideas, and actionable insights. You will create visualizations, dashboards, and metrics through in-depth research of internal and external factors, creating KPIs, financial models, business case support, and other tracking mechanisms as needed. You will provide insights to inform the path forward for the division and will track performance to strategic initiatives and goals. You will develop your knowledge base in areas that may include division profitability, deposits, consumer loans, expense management, CRM data, etc. and concurrently work on a variety of projects.



Job Responsibilities:



  • Strong organizational and presentation skills: Capability to manage work and provide timely business and technical presentations for analytics across multiple projects and different business functions.

  • Strong, effective communication: Possess strong written and oral communication skills; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas and information with all levels of the organization. Strong ability to produce actionable insights, dashboards, and visualizations and explain their meaning and underlying trends.

  • Strategic & analytic orientation: Develop concepts and processes to analyze performance data including CRM, various systems, and financial data. Understand underlying trends and their causes and interpret results to forecast future expectations and impacts.

  • Financial models and business case support: Develop frameworks, hypotheses, tests and analysis, solution development, predictive modeling, and develop a monitoring plan for a variety of projects and proposals.

  • Partnership: Work closely with colleagues across WSFS: Technology, Branches, Operations, Finance, Marketing, and others to deliver a complete and cohesive solution and drive improvement in quality, volume, service, and profitability. Understand the various background facets of data sources.

  • Financial services knowledge and technical skills: Utilize your familiarity with financial services. Knowledge of and ability to design and apply working dashboards in Power BI or Tableau and ability to gather data from disparate systems. Strong knowledge and ability to use Excel. Preferred familiarity with Oracle SmartView.

  • Leadership Skills: Train, mentor and develop Analysts on team through regular knowledge sharing and collaboration. Develop SME status for various topics/business lines. Present and interact with senior leaders across the organization.




Minimum Qualifications:



  • Must have a bachelor's degree in business or quantitative field.

  • Must have a minimum 2 years or more of relevant experience.

  • Must have experience creating visualizations and dashboards and complementary communication skills.

  • Must have demonstrated analytical experience.

  • Preferred working proficiency in analytics modeling/scripting tools such as SQL or Python.

  • Required advanced spreadsheet skills (Excel) and experience using Tableau or Power BI to produce dashboards and manage data inputs.

  • Demonstrated financial acumen and experience with a CRM system and its data is preferred.

  • Holistic and creative problem-solver with the ability to translate complex business needs into actionable analysis and the means to quickly change tactics when necessary.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand objectives and KPIs to design relevant reports and dashboards.

  • Must have the ability to multi-task and to work as part of a team.

  • Must be self-motivated, naturally curious, and able to work with minimal supervision.
